Waterfront Properties boss Rob Thomson offers a closer look at the work of the luxury real estate company’s dedicated river team.

An extension of Waterfront Properties’ wider team of real estate agents, marketing professionals, IT staff, and more, the South Florida luxury real estate firm’s river team is dedicated to the purchase and sale of the Loxahatchee River area’s most desirable riverside homes. Boss Rob Thomson reveals more about the specialist team’s work and offers an insight into life at Waterfront Properties.

Waterfront Properties’ river team prides itself on being friendly, professional, enthusiastic, humble, thorough, and attentive, according to Thomson. “People are sometimes extremely casual when it comes to signing papers which are capable of affecting their finances for several decades,” he suggests. “However, for those who recognize that small steps early on can influence major outcomes later, it’s fortunate that professionals such as ourselves are on hand,” adds the expert.

His team, he says, dedicates itself to careful monitoring of local market conditions, and to a continuous cycle of learning within the real estate industry. “As a result, we’re able to turn a potential nightmare of stress and confusion into an almost entirely painless experience,” adds Thomson.

Waterfront Properties’ river team consists of Rob Thomson, Sheri Carter, Collette Henderson, and Cristy Van Den Berg.

First established in the 1980s and owned and run by Thomson since 2010, overall operations at Waterfront Properties remain something of a family affair.

Founded by Thomson’s mother in the early ’80s and rebranded as Waterfront Properties in 1987, today the business, which has evolved into Waterfront Properties & Club Communities, has, for more than thirty years, been dedicated to providing unparalleled levels of service in terms of assisting clients in buying and selling their properties.

Thomson’s mother, Joan, remains at the company, while a number of his children are also now on board. “Related or not, success has always been about ‘us,’ as a company, and I love it when our agents say that they feel like a part of the family,” he adds.

“It’s through our dedication to service, and our resolution to pride ourselves on doing the absolute best that we can, that Waterfront Properties & Club Communities has become a staple in the luxury real estate business in South Florida,” says Thomson. “The team and I,” the boss continues, “offer properties ranging from $250,000 to more than $50 million in price, in over twenty towns in southern and southeasternmost Florida.”

Thomson, Carter, Henderson, and Van Den Berg, as Waterfront Properties’ dedicated river team, currently list a range of Loxahatchee River District properties priced from between $1 million and close to $14 million apiece. “The Loxahatchee River meanders through Palm Beach and Martin County’s wonderful lush and tropical landscape,” Thomson reveals. The Loxahatchee community, he says, boasts some of the most elegant and prized real estate in all of South Florida.

The area takes in Jupiter, located north of Palm Beach Gardens and south of Stuart, and is famed for its sandy beaches, outdoor lifestyles, and luxurious residences. The Loxahatchee River District also includes Tequesta, a charming village located just north of Jupiter, showcasing luxurious waterfront homes in an exclusive sanctuary tucked away from the rush of city living, according to Thomson.

“Both Jupiter and Tequesta boast highly in-demand waterfront homes,” he adds, wrapping up, “thanks to their unmatched views and convenient access to boating and other water sports, all of which is incredibly important to us at Waterfront Properties.”
