Kathryn Lynn Trammel was born in New Jersey but relocated to Seminole, Florida, in 1987. She moved there with her parents and brother to be closer to her maternal grandparents. Kathryn attended a private K-8 school and then a public high school where she played basketball and participated in the Drama Club. She enjoyed high school and was an honor student. As a content teenager, she enjoyed going to concerts, spending time outdoors, and exploring downtown Saint Petersburg. After high school, Kathryn knew she wanted to enter the medical field in some capacity, so she considered various possible career options - like becoming an anesthesiology assistant, a clinical laboratory scientist, a physician’s assistant, or a nurse. In the end, Kathryn chose nursing because it offered job stability and opportunities for growth within the medical industry.
