The Amazon press release event was held on September 25th in Seattle, WA, where the company is headquartered. During, Amazon representatives spent over an hour and a half unveiling and explaining all the upcoming product releases they have in store.
Echo Loop
The Echo Loop, set to retail this fall for around $130, is a smart ring that is equipped with microphones, speakers, and haptic alerts. Consumers will be able to ask Alexa questions and receive speedy answers––as well as connect with other smart devices––through the sweat-resistant band that can be worn on any finger they choose.
Upgraded Echo Speaker
“The Echo Speaker has been a big hit with consumers in the last couple years, and Amazon has upgraded their device to provide exceptional new features that put older models to shame,” says Eliseo Delgado Jr.
The speaker was given a totally new look and has been merged with the Echo Plus to optimize the output of high-quality sound. The device now features a 3-inch subwoofer, which has a noticeably more powerful bass response than past models. Additionally, it comes in multiple fabric color types to be more appealing to consumers’ styles.
Echo Frames
One of the most exciting of the Amazon announcements, the Echo Frames are sure to change the game for smart device users. Through the Frames, users can access Alexa from their stylish glasses in the same way that Tony Stark accessed his AI interfaces in the Marvel films. The product will be released later this year in a limited amount to test out its popularity, but judging by the audience’s reactions, the smart glasses are sure to be ––even with those who require prescription lenses.
