Ivanka Trump Shuts Down Fashion Label Without Warning

Sarasota, Florida July 24, 2018 (Ebiznewswire.com) – Ivanka Trump has finally called it quits. She is closing down her fashion label after only four years.

First reported on The Wall Street Journal, this rising story has now made national news. But why? The first daughter has already removed herself from the operations side of the business for roughly a year in order to better work alongside her father in The White House.

She was even quoted saying, “after 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business,” coupled with her then adding “I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington, so making this decision now is the only fair outcome for my team and partners.”

We all know the company was piggybacked off the funding of her father, Donald Trump, but the numbers are very impressive for this young 36-year-old. With having earned an over an estimated $5 million in the span of 4 years since her fashion label was established. Unfortunately today, the company of <20 staff members will finally close up shop.

“Quality for me is key, and this stands true in every facet of my business. From real estate to fasion”

Many people wonder if there is any political insight as to why Ivanka’s business now cease to exist. Rumors have it that constant interference from her father’s aggressive political tactic may have played a factor.

Soon after the presidential election, Ivanka’s brand development team promoted a $10,000 bracelet from one of her interviews. Of course, there was backlash, with media outlets saying the Trump administration is going to treat The White House as a glorified QVC outlet for shopping, only at a much higher price point.

“Go buy Ivanka’s stuff is what I would say,” Conway was quoted by FOX News. “I’m going to give a free commercial here: Go buy it today, everybody; you can find it online.” Most will say this aggressive sales tactic is unethical and not a great business model but Ivanka had to work with what she had. It worked, but not for much longer. Today July, 7th 2018 will mark the end of another Trump era.
