SanMar president Jeremy Lott and his team launch 100 percent recycled, never re-dyed District Re-Tee product line.
Made from 100 percent recycled fabric and never re-dyed, SanMar Corp.’s all-new District Re-Tee line promises to make doing good for the planet feel as good on the outside as it does on the inside. Eliminating the water-intensive dyeing process and the need to produce new raw materials, Jeremy Lott, Seattle area executive of SanMar, explains more about the product.
SanMar Corp.’s District Re-Tee products are made from reclaimed material that otherwise could end up in a landfill, according to Jeremy Lott, Mercer Island resident and Seattle-based SanMar owner and president. “The color comes from the original cotton scraps and polyester yarn, so there’s no need to re-dye it,” he explains.
According to Lott, SanMar Corp.’s District Re-Tee fabric is made from 60 percent recycled cotton and 40 percent recycled polyester.

The latest in a wide range of goods for promotional product supplier SanMar Corp., District Re-Tee products are designed to reduce waste and save resources, according to Lott. “The Re-Tee eliminates the water-intensive dyeing process,” he explains, “as well as the need to produce new raw materials.”
District Re-Tee claims to be the equivalent of skipping over six weeks of showers, shaving 5.87 miles off your daily commute, or going computer-less for a full workday. “Now doing good for the planet feels as good on the outside,” adds Lott, wrapping up, “as it does on the inside.”
President of the family-owned firm, SanMar Corp., in the Seattle suburb of Issaquah, Washington, Jeremy Lott learned the business from the inside out, from pulling orders to purchasing. After college and a period studying in Hong Kong, Lott launched his career as an analyst before relocating to Chicago in 2001 to earn his MBA. Then moving to Mercer Island, Washington, Lott joined SanMar full-time, where he continues to steer the company toward long-term growth. A father of six, Jeremy Lott remains based in the Seattle metropolitan area city of Mercer Island, where, outside of his work at SanMar, he enjoys spending time with his family, boating, skiing, hiking, and generally staying active.
