Waterfront Properties’ Robert Thomson reflects on initiation into Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate’s much talked about ‘Billionaires Club.’

Robert Thomson – Prestigious Real Estate

Real estate visionary and South Florida property mogul Robert Thomson, owner of Waterfront Properties & Club Communities, became Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate’s newest and youngest ever Billionaires Club member when he was inducted into the exclusive group of real estate brokers in 2012. Seven years on, Thomson retains the title of the youngest broker ever to earn a place in the highly exclusive industry circle. Here, he looks back on the achievement and shares further details of the much talked about a group of leading real estate professionals.

“Hundreds of luxury brokers from around the world convene each year for the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate annual fall conference,” explains Thomson, Waterfront Properties & Club Communities’ owner and managing partner.

It was at this event, back in 2012, that Robert Thomson would become the organization’s 21st ‘Billionaires Club’ member.

A global collective of leading brokers representing the very finest and most luxurious properties from around the world, Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate has been at the forefront of the luxury real estate market since 1986. “More than 130,000 members with properties in over 70 countries collectively sell upwards of $300 billion worth of real estate each year,” explains Thomson, “making Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate the most elite luxury real estate network anywhere on the planet.”

Thomson became the youngest member ever to be inducted into the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate Billionaires Club during the organization’s 2012 conference, held in Scottsdale, Arizona. “It’s a title, which, in fact, I still hold today,” adds the South Florida property expert.

Indeed, no younger luxury real estate broker has ever been inducted into the international group—open exclusively to those who have sold more than $1 billion in real estate during their careers—than Thomson, who, at the time, was 50 years old.

“Thanks to my involvement with Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, and my initiation into the organization’s exclusive Billionaires Club, I’ve been able to develop a truly rock-solid relationship with countless realtors from all corners of the globe,” adds Thomson, wrapping up, “something for which I remain incredibly grateful.”

Robert Thomson is a luxury real estate professional based in Jupiter, Florida. Robert ‘Rob’ Thomson is a managing partner and owner of Waterfront Properties and Club Communities and is co-owner of the Jupiter-based restaurant Shipwreck Bar and Grille. A keen philanthropist, Thomson is a regular volunteer with organizations such as the American Cancer Society and Big Dog Ranch Rescue, as well as Waterfront Properties’ own charitable organization, the Waterfront Way Foundation.
