Part 2 Scott Damron Business Advice
It’s this passion for innovation and a forward-thinking approach to business which has seen Scott Damron succeed in life. “Essentially it’s this passion and approach which I want to share with young entrepreneurs and business owners,” he points out. “It’s not typically something which is taught in schools, colleges, or universities. It is something which experienced mentors such as myself can share with groups like YPO and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.”
Founded in 1987, the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s core values include trust and respect, and a thirst for learning. “In business, as in life, integrity is everything,” says Damron. “Within the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, trust as well as respect are essentially the basis for their code of conduct.”
“Most noteworthy,” he adds, “a thirst for learning leads to an open mind, also an open mind leads to greater opportunities, both personally and professionally.”
Of YPO , Damron says of the 68-year-old organization, “YPO empowers more than 25,000 members in over 130 countries. We’re a collective of peer leaders, committed to lifelong learning and the exchange of ideas. All of this done while fostering a safe haven of trust, respect, and confidentiality for our community.”
So, what one piece of advice would serial entrepreneur Scott Damron have to those looking to achieve great success in life?
“Never stop learning,” he suggests, wrapping up, “and always be willing to share what you’ve learned with others. This is all in hopes that the cycle may continue.”
