1.Florida Keys
The Florida Keys, the pinnacle of the state’s tropical paradise, are attractive for a variety of reasons, including sport fishing, seafood, scuba diving, boating, and of course, jet skiing. Each of the islands has its own appeal, but you can’t go wrong with any of them when it comes to enjoying the clear blue waters on a jet ski. Jet skiing also provides easy access to many of the islands’ superb snorkeling locations, not to mention a fun and easy way to island-hop and sample all the Keys have to offer.
- Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands
If you’re interested in spotting marine life, such as dolphins and whales, a boat charter or jet skiing expedition is your best bet, Skip Drish Tampa said. Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands, in particular, are great spots for dolphin sightings. Just off the coast of Clearwater, you can also enjoy the islands’ sandy beaches and explore the mangroves.
- Tampa Bay
Naturally, Skip Drish’s favorite place to jet ski is close to home. Tampa Bay is the gateway to the Gulf of Mexico, another of the region’s gems. Many people, including Skip Drish, enjoy taking a boat into the gulf followed by a jet skiing excursion. There are also several waterways around Tampa city for those who prefer to stay closer to the mainland.
